Hi, I am Lynn and excited to meet you.
I want to give you a short introduction of who I am and how things led to this site.
It all started after my first day of work about 7 years ago. I remember coming home and that I broke down and cried. These weren’t just tears, I howled for hours until I was blue in the face. I don’t think I have ever felt as heart broken as I did at that time. I somehow felt life was over and hope was lost. I was already counting the years I’d have to keep this up.
Looking back, I’ve started to understand why I felt this way. Clueless of what I wanted in life and what was truly important to me, had made me feel incredibly lost. I didn’t know why I was doing what I was. It resulted in going with the flow of things and fulfilling the expectations of the people around me, instead of my own.
The frustration and numbness I felt toward daily life led me to find ways to deal with the health and stress issues I was facing. I found ways to improve my diet, to relax and gain more mental clarity. Although small changes in exercise and diet have brought huge improvement in the quality of my life, the true game changer was getting to know myself. Understanding myself and digging deeper to find out what I stand for and what is important to me has brought a more peaceful mind and better focus in life.
I am by nature a worrier, overthinker and analyser. I am intrinsically chaotic and a self doubter. Moderation is not one of my virtues which is why I have swayed from one extreme to the other in the past. With this I just want to express that if someone like me can make small changes to become more balanced and happy, I’m confident anyone can,
I’m passionate about finding helpful tools and habits that can significantly improve how we feel almost instantly like nourishing foods or exercise habits. On the other hand I truly enjoy digging into material and learning more new concepts that help us to understand ourselves and the world we live in. I believe there’s a plethora of enlightening material out there we can learn from which will broaden our perspectives and contribute to how we feel.
